There was an update in The Sims Mobile on June 6. If you play The Sims Mobile APK, you have to install the latest patch by yourself, unlike the apps downloaded from Google Play Store.
Note: Since The Sims Mobile is currently soft-launched only in Brazil, players, who can't wait the game's worldwide release, from other regions have to install APK file by themselves. If you want to know how to install The Sims Mobile APK, check How to Install The Sims Mobile APK article.
As mentioned in How to download The Sims Mobile APK, you have to turn on "Unknown resources" to allow your phone to install the data from APK provider. Go to the Settings and open Security menu.
Visit an APK provider page and download the updates file. Don't forget to check the publish date to see if the file is the latest version. You progress in the game is not deleted so don't worry.
Go to Downloads menu.
Tap the downloaded The Sims Mobile updates file.
Then you'll be asked if you are sure to install the data. The message also notices you that existing your game data won't be lost.
Open The Sims Mobile on your phone, and it starts downloading the updates date. You can enjoey the updates after that.
