How can I move a sim out?

I’ve looked everywhere and can’t find an answer. I’m on generation 1 and had a second sim, from the beginning when they ask you to make a roommate. My sim has now found love and wants her wife to movie in with her, but I’m not spending 175 cash to get a new cash and I honestly just want the roommate to delete or move out.

To remove a sim out of your house, you need to buy a family portrait, then click on the portrait. Click on the sim you want to delete, then click "Make Passive". After click the portrait again and click on the player again, and then there should be a "Remove Player" button. I hope this helps!

You can only do it when your sim is retired

You have to retire the sim then move it out through picture frame

You click n the painting that you got at the very biting of the game click on the person you want to move out and your done
P.s you also have to retire them

You tap on the family portrait and then tap on the sim you wish to move out. It will ask you to confirm that you are moving that sim out.

Once the sim retires it will give you the option to move them out. (Can’t retire until level 16)

You will have to retire the roommate and then you could try moving your new wife in. I tried to let my friend move in and it seemed to work. So try it!
