Overview

The third hobby that you can unlock is the Writing Hobby. You can put one of your Sims in this hobby once you've reached Player Level 15. This hobby will require a Writer's Block Desk and a chair for you to begin. Your Sims will write poems, think of plots for short stories and start making novels. Similar to the other hobbies available in the game, levelling up your hobby will unlock home items that will give you XP and additional actions during hobby events.

You need to buy the Davenport Desk to move on. You’ll find it in your Hobby section of the store.

How do u get the chair

I’ve purchased 3 different dining chairs, repositioned the chair in every possible location, moved the desk to another location, quit the hobby and bought again....no luck!

I’m having the same issue. I tried moving the hair closer to the desk but it won’t let you have it slid up like it does for the dining table, it requires you leave space in front of the chair.

You can slide it to the desk like with the kitchen table, but it can't stand to close to a door or another object

You can buy the cheapest chair or whatever u want but you need to pull the chair as close as u can to the table. At first ir will show that it's Red but pull it closer and then u can have this hobby.

I am stuckat 87% in Naturally Narrative in this hobby and no matter how many sessions I so it does not increase.

I have already unlocked the writing hobby. I bought the writing desk. And the task says it requires a dining chair. I already have a chair but still i cannot proceed with the hobby. I am already level 15. What should i do.
