Overview

DJ or Disc Jockey Career involves mixing and playing music live in the club located in Downtown. You can unlock the Downtown area once you've reached Player Level 15 and you can unlock the Club once you've reached Player Level 23. Aside from working in the DJ's booth, you'll be socializing with those Sims in the dance floor and with your fellow DJ. Choosing this career and levelling up will unlock items that you can place at home or in the club.

In order to unlock this you have to complete all quest made in the limited time offer or you can simply buy the package

I can't unlock the club. I'm level 30, when I turned level 23 there was the option to unlock the club but I waited as I had no need for it then. I'm now ready to unlock it but the padlock symbol is gone. I clicked all around the building and nothing. So frustrating. I'm thinking it's an issue they need to fix but I can't seem to find anything online where someone has the same problem.

I have the same problem. Some people said that you cant be doing an event there while trying to unlock. I've tried everything that was suggested and still don't have the icon to unlock it.

This happened to me and, when I read some advice from EA, it was suggested that I restart the game. DON’T do this. I had to start all over again.

In order to unlock places you need venues to unlock them not just to unlock them using sim coins and llama symbols... in order to view if you have venues you look at the top where that house symbol when you trying to unlock the new place

I’ve seen that some players have the bar and the drink display in their homes. How can I get these things for my home?

I’m level 31 and there’s no padlock on the club so I can’t unlock it. This is really frustrading.
