Sims traits are maxed out and she had the option to retire but it went away help?

It dissapeared in her traits section by the way if that helps

Same thing just happened to me. I have retired 3 Sims already and on the 4th (after delaying retirement) the Retire option disappeared from the Traits tab. :(

Yes after I leveled up one more level to level 20

I am having this EXACT same problem, the option to reetire has just disappeared and the option won't return. I am on gen 3 and wanted to move to gen 4
