A relative is a person related to you by blood or marriage. A good example for a relative Sims is your Sims' child. You can either adopt or make your own child once you've reached level 8 lover relationship, however; there is a set of conditions that you need to attain for you to do that. At first, children are only part of interactions, but they will also rise and can be part of your playable Sims.
