There are a lot of ways to get home tickets. Work, doing an event at one of the parks, the mail box if you get arrow to watch ad, and I think even some relationship events give home tickets. Attend parties when your level is high enough. I usually find one and do the short events. On a full energy bar, you can knock one or two events before you have to recharge or use a cupcake for energy. You can recharge by clicking on bed every 8 hours. Other object will increase the amount of energy the bed, shower or toilet will give you. ( you have to purchase items that say "give +1 or higher energy to said object) hope this helps
