Why can't I tap on the stove to join the cooking hobby?
i just bought the stove and now there is a thing that says "tap on the stove to join the cooking hobby" and a big yellow arrow pointing to the stove, but when i press on it it does nothing.

just restart sims if it doesnt work then do a different event and come back to it

Try to restart the game. Sometimes its glitchy specially during tutorial part.
