I go to the decorations tab but it doesn’t let me put decorations anywhere, it’s just a red square

I had a similar problem a day or so ago. If you're out of blue super heirloom tickets, you won't be able to place anything. You earn them from Events.

It might depend on what your playable sims are doing and if they’re involved in an event or something. I can’t decorate while my sims are making a baby lmao
