When do babies become playable?

Do I need to unlock the playable sim icon or do they become playable when they are children? Thanks

I find the funnest part about the Sims is being able to play kids and toddlers.

All I will say is do not pay the sim cash to unlock a playable sims if you want to play the child. I did as they made me “promote” my child so she instantly became an adult and we completely skipped her teenaged phase. So not impressed

So y’all gotta fuck the other sim than your sim gotta argue with the person and than more make up sex than you get to have a baby

If you have one unlocked you have to go to the picture on the wall and promate them and they will grow up of you do this.
