Make sure that all doors leading into other rooms from the bedroom, are regular doors. I just had the problem with it being blocked, and found out that I had put a Be Square Doorway going from the bedroom to a hobby room. As soon as I changed that out for a regular door, I was able to get my sims to WooHoo..apparently they're not exhibitionists...lol
