I accidentally put a sim in retirement!

I really have that the thing keeps popping up, and it finally happened, I put one of my Sims in retirement when I did not want to! Is there any way to take him out? I feel really bad due to I had plans to get him engaged. I really hope you remove that pop up and let us retire them when ready. Is there anything you guys can do? Thank you

There's nothing you can do but try to contact EA for a more advanced solution.

No it really stinks that when we put our sims in retirement that they leave all things behind but then live with us until the end but you could try to recreate the same sim and give it all the same traits and then marry and engage the same girl or guy you had the first time.
