Asking to move in.

You have to buy a new slot i think i have the same problem. With me only enimies can move in.

I have my sim an additional sim that I created and 4 children with another on the way and I want my wife to move in how do I do that when both my sims aren’t eligible for retirement? Someone help

I figured it out - if the sim you want to move in with you has a little blue diamond over them (meaning that they are controlled by another, real life player) the only way to get them to move in with you is to have the owner transfer that sim to you (which I think you can request to do). When this happens, the owner can no longer control their sim, so it most likely won’t happen.

Your relationship level has to be 8 I think

The house is available for two active sims. If you have the third or thw fourth, another sims can't move in because there aren't enough room. I suggest you retire one of your sims so you can ask another player's sim to move in. I hope this helps

It’s not about the amount of rooms but the amount of players/characters. When you start the game you have max 2 players and you can pay to add up to an extra 2 players (4 in total). If you want a sim to move in, you will either need to add another player (bottom of screen) and then ask the sim you want to move in, or use the family photo to “promote” a player to the household. If you don’t have anymore player space left then you will need to retire a sim to empty that space.
