Why can't I have my Sims get married?

I have two beds one for my girl sim Lexie light and another for my boy sim Mark Riggs cowencidence

Me too I can't get my two sims to be married to each other. The only way is to retire the guy and buy another one, and to choose "soul mates" or something because I chose "bff" on the first place.

I was hoping I would be able to apply me and hubby's love story here hahaha we became bff first before getting married.

It’s so annoying I can’t get them married it’s just gray and I can’t click the button I wish someone had an answer for what’s going on

So I want my sims go get married but the event has already ended what should I do

I made room but still it only said “imagine the big day” or does it need another room?

I added a extra bedroom,I retired him by mistake, I thought retired meant not working,did not know it meant not in the picture anymore, but he still hangs out, will not eat or go to bathroom, just did is water what is up.

I HAVe the flirty thing but it has the wedding thing locked

I have everything and it says “here comes the wedding” but it doesn’t let me tap it also I don’t have the thing that you go and press “more” and go to flirty

The wedding event is there but I can't click on It. Why is this?

So there has been an update. To get married you don’t need to click the wedding arch. After the proposal with the sim, go to more options and click flirty. It should come up with “Here comes the wedding” event. Once you finish that event it goes to the married blue screen and Ta da! Your sims are now officially married.
