Why can't I have my Sims get married?

If you marry a sim, they automatically move in with you. Since there’s no space in your house, you need to “retire” some of your sims and move them out.

I'm lost. I have a relationship with generic generated SIM at level 10 (more than friends with benefits), three friends at level 2, all the wedding decorations, but there is no option to move in, propose, noting to that end. I can woohoo, but not get the SIM to move in, even with an empty slot?

What am I missing?

I looked for purpose and it was not there

I buy everything for marriage I had my levels all 10 but nothing it says marriage but it is locked wth?!?

On mine it wouldn't do that either. It would say it was complete but would give you options like they've never met before. So I clicked on one of those and it fixed the whole thing. Hope this helps. If not I'm sorry.

I've been figuring out whats wrong with my sims because I can't ask them to marry using wedding arch. I've been in high level relationship with my sims. Just found out you guys have the same problem with me huh. Please fix this soon, it's so not fun

Same here, I’m at level 10 soulmates, and have three friends and I can’t do anything like move in or propose or get married, it’s a computer generated sim not one I created, they need to fix

I’m having a similar problem. I am at level 9 with my partner and I can’t even propose. This is not a real person either it’s just a generic sim but yet I still can’t propose

Before I would get the proposing event but it’s not even an option anymore. So annoying.

My sims can’t get marry anymore either, they can’t evem become engaged which is all after th honey moon room event!
