Why can't I have my Sims get married?

Anybody know why my sims cant get married? I've complete the relationship alrdy and buy the wedding arch but also cant . Theres are no an option to marry . Just option imagine a big day . Anybody know how to solve?

Same with me, after the silly honeymoon quests came, which I didn’t complete, I can’t get my sims married, they have proposed already and have a high relationship level, and kids. I used the wedding arch and “Get Married To...” is not an option anymore.

I'm having a similar issue. Online it says that I should have been able to propose to the other sim at level 7, but that option never came up. The sim is someone else's creation, so I asked them to move in, but that user hasn't signed in to the game in 18 days. So now, I can't get married even though I have all of the prerequisites as well as my sim having a baby with the other character. It's very frustrating.

I have my sims at lvl 10 and I couldn’t find the option to purpose so I just did an event and it said they were engaged then I already bought the wedding arch and I just clicked it and it said get married. Then they automatically got wedding clothes on and got married BAM DONE

Yea, my sim was in a full relationship story and was engaged, I have the full set and I was saving for the wedding dress but while I was doing that, my sim’s fiancé retired and now apparently we aren’t engaged. This really sucks because it is saying that if you are retired, you can’t get married.

You need to get engaged and that will be an option soon and to get married you need to have the marriage set

I'm having the exact same problem I think it's because my sim is dating a sim that isn't mine and that sim can't move in because if I had the option for him to move in I would have to wait until one of my sims i control to retire and the sim that isn't mine retired just when I was about to reach the marriage level and I don't think u can marry a retired sim

You need these 3 wedding things plus make sure you are on that marriage level

You need to buy the wedding arch (I think it unlocks at a certain level) I bought the arch and now my Sims are married
