Is their a way to choose gender of my baby aside from adopting?

I really wanted a girl so I changed the bassinet could to PINK but I got 5 boys I NEED HELP

What I do is that I change the color of the bassinet. People say it doesn't work all the time though

It doesn’t work. I used pink and got a boy. You have to eventually resort to adoption.

I used the bassinet while it was yellow for my first baby and got a boy, then changed it to green and got another boy, and I really wanted a girl so I changed the bassinet color to pink BEFORE I chose the option to have a baby and got a girl! No idea if this actually works, definitely could’ve just been luck, but I want a second girl and I’m going to try with the pink bassinet again and see if it works, and after that I’ll try with blue and see if I can get another boy.

Guys it doesn’t matter what color the bassinet is the game will still chose the gender for you. I made mine pink and got a baby boy.

When you buy a bassinet for your baby you can choose which colour you would like it to be. Others say different things but with me, when I bought a pink bassinet I got a baby girl and when I bought a blue bassinet I got a baby boy however when I bought a green/yellow bassinet the gender of the baby was chosen by the game hence I had got a boy once and a girl with a yellow and a green bassinet. Im not sure if this works for everyone and this could just be my luck but try it and please let me know if this helped!

You can change the gender once you make the Sim playable. There's no way besides adopting to choose the gender before that.
