Add a room in sims mobile

I have already added two rooms to my sims mobile house. I now want to add another room but I keep getting the message that I need to improve the lifestyle to unlock. I have brought them new sofas but not sure what else I need to do

Buy new home items or add doors and windows. It could take a bit, but your lifestyle will level up soon enough.
