How do you get married and have a baby?

You need to get to level 10 and get married. Then get a bassinet, or a baby bed, and press adopt or make baby with partner

You have to develop your relationship with your partner to soulmates (complete the whole story) and buy the wedding requirements. But I think you can have a kid with your partner at a certain level, just not married

All you have to do is wait for the level to let you purchase a baby bassinet ( baby bed) which is found in Babies and Kids in the furniture shop. Then click on the bed once you buy it and click adopt a baby with... or have a baby then you have to wait 30 minutes or you can rush it with sims cash. As for marriage you have to complete the Propose quest and then purchase a wedding arch, pillars and the other item I forgot. Then click it and press Get married to...and choose the person. It wouldn't let me until I was level 10 and you have to make sure to use predominantly romantic interactions or they won't get engaged then you buy all 3 wedding items and the quest will pop up to get married
